Former Star Named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week and Stars Continue To Hold a Grip On to First Place
Former Syracuse Star Joe Wilson (Colgate Raiders) was recently named ECAC Rookie of the Week. He earned the honor scoring 2 goals and 2 assists against the Cornell Big Red and is ranked ninth among rookies in the conference with 7 goals and 6 assists for 13 points.
Stars Continue to Shine
The Syracuse Stars returned to action following a 4 week holiday break and didn't lose any momentum as they downed the Potomac Patriots, 9-2. The game started off sluggish as the Stars scored the only goal in the opening stanza. Syracuse put the game out of reach tallying 5 goals in the second to take a 6-1 lead into the second intermission and then cruised to the 9-2 victory.
