STARS GO UNDEFEATED AT 2007 WOODCHUCK CLASSIC

Burlington, VT – The Syracuse Stars go undefeated at the 3rd Annual Woodchuck Classic beating the Portland Jr. Pirates 6-2, the Toronto Dixie Beehives 3-2 and the Georgetown Raiders 4-3. The 3rd Annual Woodchuck Classic, hosted by the Green Mountain Glades, was once again a great pre-season showcase. Over the four day event, fifteen Junior A teams from Canada and the U.S played against each other. The majority of the games were played on the campus of the University of Vermont at Gutterson Field House. As many as 80 college coaches and NHL scouts were in attendance.
