Jeremy Morin named EJHL Rookie of the Year and is set to play for the National Development Team next season.
Young Syracuse Stars player, Jeremy Morin, at just fifteen years old, was named Eastern Junior Hockey Player Rookie of the Year. Jeremy ended the season in the top ten of scoring leaders in the EJHL and the overall scoring leader for the Syracuse Stars paving the way with 26 goals and 28 assists. This was quite an impressive feat, being that he was the only 1991 birth year player to play in a league where the average age of a player was 19.
With endless offers from colleges, OHL, and the NTDP, Jeremy has decided to take the National Development Team offer. He will be playing for them next season. While the Stars hate to see him go, their philosophy of moving players on to the next level will make Jeremy the eigth straight player in the last eight seasons to be selected to the NTDP team. The Stars look forward to following Jeremy's future accomplishments both in and out of the hockey world. |
