Adam Graff’s goal six minutes into the second period tied the game at 2-2. The Glades then regained the lead with just five minutes remaining on a goal from Mark Collins. Rob Morton then tied the game again for the Stars thirty seconds into the third period. Once again the Glades took the lead again on Dan Evarts goal midway in the period. Then with just 1:16 left in regulation Ryan Farnan scored to tie the game at 4-4 and gave the Stars their third consecutive tie game.

Saturday the Stars defeated the Green Mountain Glades A team 5-3 to give them their first win since the end of November. Josh LaRose got the scoring started for the Stars with a goal early in the second period. Green Mountain then scored two goals from Riley Wetmore, one of them shorthanded, to take a 2-1 lead. The Stars then tallied three straight goals from Chris Cannizzaro, Rob Morton, and Joe Wilson to give the Stars a 4-2 lead. Green Mountain made it a tight game with just 2:00 remaining on a goal from Mark Collins to cut the lead to 4-3. The Glades then pulled their goalie Connor Shannon for the added attacker to try to tie the game but with just :31 remaining John Hero scored an empty net goal for the Stars to make the final 5-3.

On Sunday the Green Mountain Glades jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and then held on to defeat the Syracuse Stars, 6-5. Goals from Riley Wetmore, Tyler Brickler, and Steve Collins in the first 9 minutes of the game gave the Glades a commanding 3-0 lead before Mike Montagna's goal cut the lead to 3-1 after one period. Midway in the second Adam Graff cut the Glades lead to 3-2 but with just :52 remaining in the period the Glades' Mike Cenisio gave them a two goal lead again going into the second intermission. The third period was a back and forth battle as the Stars cut the deficit to one on Chris Cannizzaro's goal with 17:54 remaining in the game. The Glades then built their lead to 5-3 about three minutes later on a goal from Ian Toof. Syracuse then scored two goals in a matter of four minutes from Rob Morton and Joe Wilson to tie the game at 5-5. Brickler's second goal of the game just forty-two seconds after Wilson's goal proved to be the game winner. With the victory the Glades earned a split (1-1-1) in the three game weekend series.

The Stars A team will travel to New Jersey this weekend to take on the Hitmen.
